This week has been monumentally exciting for LNI and our team in Sierra Leone, who are directed by PJ Cole.  On Monday 22nd June, PJ received his Queen’s Young Leader’s Awards from Her Majesty the Queen at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

PJ said “Yesterday was quite surreal, started off by doing BBC Radio 4 interview, then visiting Number 10 to meet the UK Prime Minister and Former UK PM Sir John Major, then off to Twitter for training and BBC again, then Buckingham Palace to receive the award, followed by dinner at St James Palace were I was sat next to the HRH the Duke of York on the same table with Sir John Major… We talked politics, development, health and investment in young people.  I am humbled for our work to be recognised.  This is the result of team work.
