    In Ukraine, Network member Today’s Family is running out a number of projects including:

    - mentoring university students in effective leadership

    - teaching and mentoring projects with vulnerable children in orphanages

    - supporting local people to adopt or foster orphans within Ukraine.

    Within New Hampshire, Network partners are able to have a strategic, state level influence on policy concerning foster care.

  • Dominica, St Martin, Haiti, Aruba, Dominican Republic

    Network members are based in Dominica, St Martin, Haiti, Aruba and the Dominican Republic.

    Projects in Dominica include:

    - support for those with mental health issues

    - HIV support groups

    - nationally recognised leadership training scheme.

    Network members in St Martin offer:

    - opportunities for adults to gain high school diplomas through tailored training and support

    - a school for expatriate children who would not otherwise receive schooling provision

    - youth projects.

  • Liberia, Ghana, Sierra Leone

    In Liberia, network members are running a community clinic that provides access to:

    - maternity, antenatal and postnatal care

    - government vaccination schemes

    - general healthcare for local people.

    In Sierra Leone, the Nehemiah Project has been working since the civil war to rehabilitate ex-boy soldiers in its rehabilitation centre. It now runs:

    - a rehabilitation centre for orphans and street children

    - social enterprise projects including a sports entertainment centre

    - HIV awareness-raising projects.

    In Ghana, partners are working to support street children.

  • Philippines

    Network members in the Philippines are working to:

    - increase awareness of issues surrounding drug abuse

    - support relief work in areas affected by natural disasters.

  • Peru

    In Peru, Network members are working with local young people and children. Projects include:

    - healthy eating programmes for families

    - a youth group that encourages young people to positively affect the community

    - health programmes.

    In Zimbabwe, Network members are running the following projects:

    - intensive mentoring with child-headed households

    - HIV support groups

    - the Disablement Association of Zimbabwe, working to support and advocate for those with disabilities.

    In South Africa, network members are working to:

    - empower people working in their communities in training and health support

    - run sustainable income-generating projects.

    In Mozambique, Network members run:

    - a language school

    - prison visits

    - a project to create mutual support partnerships between widows with orphans.

    In Egypt, Network members are working in the community to:

    - spread awareness and fight against female genitalia mutilation

    - offer parenting support

    - offer health education projects.
