We have recently received a report  on the graduation ceremonies from Sierra Leone at the Freetown and Punduru training centres.

In Freetown on 26th January 2019, some 180 out of the 250 graduates joined in the celebration, which was led by members of the team – Philemon Kamara, Jabba Pessima, PJ Cole and Rick K.Lassie.  The guest speaker was Alpha Ramadan Bangura, a former employee of LifeLine.  Certificates were presented by Lynn Coles(UK), the director of Training for RSLAF (Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces), Chief Kanu of Kuntoloh Community and the Former Director of Tec/Voc at the Ministry of Education.

Up in the rural area of Punduru, 139 farmers (from the 5 different communities where LifeLine is working) were presented with certificates on 2nd February 2019, led by a team including PJ Cole (Executive Director of LifeLine), John Obi (former Headmaster of Punduru School) and Mohamed Turay (Project Manager of the project.  The key note speaker was the Director of Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security, Philip G. Conteh.  Graduates celebrated with traditional dances and songs.
